Stoke Canon church is open Tuesdays 10:00am to 12 noon and 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

The church of Stoke Canon was probably one of the Domesday churches of Devon. The church of St Mary Magdalene is located in the centre of the village a few miles North of Exeter on the A396 Tiverton road.   With the exception of the 15th century tower, the church was rebuilt in the late1830’s. It is a Grade 1 listed building and contains a celebrated Norman Font, one of the oldest in Devon.

As part of the Netherexe Mission Community we are committed to maintaining a worshipping, witnessing community in our parish and to making the gospel known to people of all ages and backgrounds.   In our local church life we seek to be welcoming and accessible for all generations; to offer relevant and appropriate worship and study opportunities; and to serve other people by building community and meeting identified needs.
